2022 Mentors of the Year

Kyle Grosso

Plasterer

“Kyle is one Journeyman that I can feel confident in getting help with anything that I’m struggling with while fireproofing.  Whenever I’m spraying and I’m struggling with something, Kyle will come up and show me the right way to do it.”
- Apprentice Patrick Freeman

Larry Linder

Cement Mason

“Well, not only did he give me a job twice straight out of my 2-week pre-job, but he’s also always been a hands-on type of Foreman.  He has a great sense of humor and never makes anyone feel bad if they make a mistake.  Very good at giving feedback and not judging.  He even gave 3 of us Apprentices work at his home during the strike, paying us out of his own pocket so that we could take care of our family and responsibilities.  He has his flaws, but he’s a man of faith and gives a person a chance to learn from one of the most respected and graceful finishers in the State.”

-Apprentice Antonio Young
